How to burn photos to a CD
using your Windows XP PC.

 

Assumptions:
The folder containing the files is in the My Pictures folder.
The CD Writer is the bottom drive and is drive E.

1.

Put a blank CD-R or CD-RW in your CD burner drawer (bottom drawer)

2.

If a window pops up, close it.

3.

Open Windows Explorer. 

4.

If you can't see a directory of folders on the left, click “Folders” in the top menu.

In the folders area, click on the "+" next to My Computer. 
Note: This expands the view to see the CD writer.  If you already see the CD writer, or if it shows a "-" next to My Computer, skip this step.

6.
In the folders area, click on My Pictures (don't click the "+" or "-" next to it).
This should make the desired folder visible on the right side.
7.
Click and drag the desired folder to your CD-Writer Drive (E).
8.
A bubble will pop up at the bottom of the screen.
Click it.
9.
A new window will pop up.
On the left side of the window, cClick on "Write Files to CD"
10.
Follow the rest of the directions.
